About Fitz and The Tantrums

If you love the hits "HandClap", "The Walker", and "Out Of My League", you love Fitz and The Tantrums. And you’ll love them even more after experiencing this sure-to-be-a-roof-raiser show.

The band, led by co-vocalist and songwriter Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick, backed by co-vocalist Noelle Scaggs, sax master James King, keyboardist Jeremy Ruzumna, bassist Joseph Karnes, and drummer John Wicks is never satisfied to stay in one place artistically. “With every record, we want to go somewhere different,” says Fitz. “Sometimes that vision is clear. Sometimes it’s a process of discovery.” Their most recent album, “All The Feels” takes off in a decidedly emotional direction, and lands in a truly hopeful place. It’s vibrant sonic palette draws from rock, dance, and hip-hop to generate a vibe that people can connect with on a number of levels.

The most important level, though, is the one that makes you move. “Our show is such a big part of who we are and has always been a joyful dance party,” says Fitz. So get ready to be moved and get moving at a joy-filled dance party, presented by High Point Market Authority, Friday, October 15.
